Hinerangi's Learning Blog 2016

My Mum,is the most wonderful mum in the entire universe. There's more  ways to describe my mum.She even helps people when they have diabetes. She visits them everyday when she can. She works at the T e A wamutu M edical C entre just down the road from us (as in the school).She even paid for my camp at Finlay Park. But sometimes she to lazy to cook dinner and that will stop from cooking with her. I love to cook with my mummy. I love my mum to the moon and back. Forever and always to you my mummy.

My First Time In A Taxi-By Hinerangi Where Main course How One sunny day me and my sister(Donnah) went to Hunters Plaza,Papatoetoe. But...their was no way to get there. So my sister called(drum roll please) the taxi. I was, I was nervous because it was my first time on a taxi. Luckily, I had killed some time packing the boot with stuff. But then it came to the time of hopping into the taxi. I was about to explode but I didn´t. (Luckily) I hopped into the taxi. I put my shimmering seatbelt. I closed the taxi door Boom! I slammed it so hard I got in  big trouble from the taxi driver. We got to hunters plaza. I feel okay I guess. That was fun riding in a taxi. I felt happy  and wowed that was so much fun. Next time we go to hunters plaza I hope we go in a taxi.

Last night we went to Nort end church on ohpua road.It was very nervous at first but then it didnt much.We went in our class order.(17,18,19,20,21 and 22)We had few jokes andd question.At the end we annouced who the winners were of the kahoot.Here are some pics of us.

Today we went on a road trip to 3 places.  1. Rewi Maniapoto mounment. 2. Orakau Battle field. 3.Rangi-awhia Church We learnt about Rewi Maniapoto.At the church we did a treasure hunt inside the church. Then we dressed up in olden clothes. Her is some photos. Today we swaped classes,To room 21.In room 21 we made tapara art and Kadinsky circles which was named after Kadinsky.We learnt that you can do art with your imaganation and that everything starts with a dot.When youndo tapara art you have to screw it up like this one down below.It started with the one with no black paper underneath.You can do your own design.

This is one of my book review had done.

Today the Red Dogs builted a tower called Red Dog Paris. The tower structure was medium and a bit strong. we reinforced our tower by putting little standers inside the tower legs.

Our topic of inquiry this term is inventions & creators,So our reading is all about this.I will be completing one page per day.

Today we went to the museum,I learnt that TA is a good place to be.Uenuku is a spritie in a rock that can move to anybody or anything. Uenuku is a kind of a rainbow becuase of there spikes pointing up.People can only see four but when you get to know him more you can actually see seven.Uenuku was in a lake for the past few years but someone found him.Here are a couple of photos.

Today Eva and Cullen interveiwed firefighters fire fighter Iam and fire fighter Wayen.We learnt that you never should play with lighters and  matchs because they can start a fire.I guess we are the lucky ones. 😹 By Hinerangi
